About Collateral Dataworks

Built on the most trusted source of property intelligence

Collateral Dataworks transforms field inspection data into a structured, analytics-ready dataset — combining verified on-site observations, photo documentation, and market-level insights captured by licensed professionals at national scale.

Our Story

A new kind of property dataset — from the field, not the filing cabinet

Reports compiled by licensed professionals during property inspections have always contained some of the richest collateral data available — verified on-site, captured at the exact moment of high-scrutiny financial transactions. But that data was locked inside individual files, inaccessible at scale.

"Inspection-verified field data is observed, structured, and supported by photos — providing a deeper, more accurate view of housing stock than MLS listings or public record data can offer."

Collateral Dataworks was built to unlock that intelligence — extracting, structuring, and delivering inspection-verified property data as a clean, analytics-ready dataset for lenders, fintechs, insurers, and analytics platforms nationwide.

Why Our Data

Three things no other property dataset can offer

MLS data captures listings. Public records capture transactions. Field inspection data captures the truth — observed, documented, and structured by a licensed professional physically present at the property.

Physically Verified

Every data point reflects what a licensed professional observed on-site — interior condition, exterior condition, deferred maintenance, quality ratings, and effective age. Not inferred, not estimated.

Structured & Standardized

Licensed professionals follow defined forms and rating scales — making the data consistent, comparable, and ready for analysis without the normalization headaches of scraped or aggregated sources.

Broad Market Context

Each record includes 3–6 comparable sales, expanding the dataset beyond individual properties to deliver neighborhood trends, historical pricing, and market-level condition context.

Our Mission

"Inspection-verified field data offers a uniquely rich source of property intelligence — combining on-site observations, market expertise, and physical condition documentation to deliver actionable insights."

We believe the housing market deserves better data. Data that's been observed, not estimated. Documented, not derived. Structured for the analysis platforms and decisioning engines that power modern real estate finance.

Built on a network of 23+ contributing entities — and growing

Collateral Dataworks aggregates inspection-verified property data from a nationwide network of contributing entities. This multi-source architecture is the foundation of our scale and geographic coverage — with additional data sources added regularly.
